  On the basis of the academic performance in the University examination held at the end of the academic session, students are awarded prizes on college day.
In the M.A and B.A. (Hons.) courses, the toppers of each course are awarded prizes.

In B.A. (Pass) the toppers of individual subjects and in B.Com. (Pass) the toppers of individual papers are awarded prizes.

Besides these a number of instituted prizes are awarded for excellence in various fields. These are as follows :
